My Indefinite Hunger Strike

The following was recived AFTER I had already recived word that Uhuru had ended his hunger strike.  News travel slow when your in solitary confinement, not to mention prison in general.  That being said I still feel that it should be posted here…

To all of my friends, supporters and comrades:
Effective June 6th, 2016, I will be going on an indefinite hunger strike to compel the prison administration here at Buckingham Correctional Center in Dillwyn, Virginia and the Virginia Department of Corrections, in general, to transfer me to another facility. The Assassination Attempt

Many of you are aware of my current plight: on April 10th, at close to midnight, several prison guards rushed into my cell in an ambush style raid to search me and my cellmate’s personal belongings.  I was jolted out of my sleep and nearly fell off the top bunk as a result of the guards screaming and beating on the door in an attmept to disorient us. From General Population to Solitary Confinement

On the 10th of April, 2016, at approximately 11:50pm, I was awaken to the sounds of a correctional officer banging on my door who commanded in a loud voice for my cell parter and I to stand up and approach the cell door. In my efforts to regain my senses after being startled from a deep sleep and amidst the commotion, I nearly fell off my top bunk in order to comply with the guard’s demand.

Upon approaching the cell door, my cell partner and I were forced to strip naked and forced to bend over, squat and cough as the guard and his cohorts examined our bodies.
